: Because Mary was a girl consecrated to the temple by her mother according to God’s will, her gender made custody an issue for her guardians. So they were casting lots to decide a sensitive issue.
And remember what the angels said: “God sends you, O Mary, good news of his command. His name will be Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary. He will receive great glory in this world and in the next, and he will receive the favor of God. He will be among the righteous, and he will speak to people the same as he did in the cradle, and when he grows up, he will be among the righteous.’ When Mary heard this, she said: “Lord, how can I ‘ shall I have a son, since no one has laid hands on me?” He said: “That would be so. “44 was the answer. God creates whatever He wants. When He decides something, He simply says, “Be,” and it is done. (Continuing their message, the angels added:) “And God will teach him the Book and wisdom. , give him the knowledge of the Torah and the Gospel, and appoint him as your messenger to the children of Israel.” Quran 3:45-49
44 This means that a son will be born to you even if no one touches you. It should be noted that in response to Zacharias’ prayer the same word “kazalika” is used, which means “so it will be”. Therefore, it conveys the same meaning here. In addition, the whole context here confirms the story that Mary received the good news of the birth of her son without any sexual intercourse and that the birth of Christ did indeed take place in such an unusual way. If, in the usual way, a son was born to her and the event of the birth of Jesus took place. Then the whole conversation that starts from verse 33 and ends in verse 63 will be completely meaningless. Not only that, but all other references to the unusual birth of Jesus in the Qur’an also lose their meaning and significance. The Christians considered Jesus worthy of worship as the Son of God simply because of his unusual birth without a father, while the Jews criticized Mary because they observed that she gave birth to a child despite who was not married. Otherwise, both groups were clearly told that the girl had married a man and that Jesus came from his lineage. I cannot see, then, why such a long introduction and series of arguments were necessary to dispel all doubt about his miraculous birth. In that case, Jesus could be called the son of a specific person rather than “son of Mary.” This is indeed the position of those who, on the one hand, claim to believe that the Holy Qur’an is the Word of God, but on the other hand try to prove that Jesus was born after the natural union of the man and woman. Try to show that God cannot express himself as clearly as these people. (May God protect us from blasphemy!)

That is, “If you are not stubborn and ready to accept the truth, this sign is clear enough to convince you that I have been sent by God, the Creator and Absolute Ruler of this universe.”
I mean “This is another proof of the fact that I am sent from God. If I were a false prophet, I would create my own religion and with the power of these miracles I would try to convert you from one faith. to another. . A new creed . But I confess that the same original religion is true, and I confirm the same teaching given by the prophets before me.”
The Gospel(s) In Islam And Christianity
The fact that Jesus taught the same religion presented by Moses and other prophets is also supported by the existing gospels. For example, according to the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus declared in the Sermon on the Mount: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to take them away, but to fulfill them.” (5:17).
One of the Pharisees, a lawyer, asked Jesus: “Which commandment is the greatest in the law?” He replied:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” ” In these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40) On another occasion, Jesus said to his disciples:

“The scribes and the Pharisees sat in the seat of Moses. So do everything they say and keep it, but do not imitate their way, because they only talk and do not act.” (Matthew 23:2-3).
That is, “I have come to destroy and remove the superstition of your ignorant people, the splitting of hair by your jurists, the religious severity of your ascetics, and the restrictive additions made to the law of God under non-Muslim domination. Only what is authorized by God and what is illegal. To do what is right for you or what is wrong for you.”
Therefore it is clear that Jesus, Moses, Muhammad and all the other prophets (peace of God be upon them all) had one and the same mission. Those who say that different prophets were sent on different missions and to fulfill different purposes are seriously mistaken. Whoever is entrusted by the Sovereign of the universe to his subjects cannot have any other mission than to stop people from obeying him and becoming independent, and from making others his friends with God. His authority somehow. Because they were sent to encourage people to surrender, submit, be loyal to Almighty God, and worship Him alone.
Is The Bible More Violent Than The Quran?
It is a pity that the existing gospels do not present the mission of Jesus in a precise and clear way as it is presented in the Holy Qur’an above. However, the three fundamental points mentioned above are scattered throughout these books. For example, the fact that Jesus only believed in worshiping God is clear from the following facts:
The fact, then, that Jesus always presented himself as a prophet and representative of the kingdom of heaven, and that he always invited people to follow him in that capacity only, is supported by his words. When He began His missionary work in His hometown of Nazareth, His people and relatives rose up against Him. And he spoke according to the tradition agreed upon by Matthew, Mark and Luke. “. And when his enemies were planning to kill him in Jerusalem and were urging him to go somewhere else, he answered: “It is not possible for a prophet to die outside Jerusalem.” (Luke 13:33).
