Gerald R. Brandel is Professor Emeritus at the Wayne State University School of Social Work, faculty member, and past president of the Michigan Board of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. A practicing psychoanalytic psychologist, he is the (founding) editor-in-chief of Psychoanalytic Social Work.
