Although I really like Guns n roses, I have to say the worst period would be the 80’s. 80s pop was the worst idea on the planet – so annoying!
Which Had The Best Pop Music, The 60s, 70s, Or 80s?
The 70’s weren’t great. Aerosmith was great, but the rest were weird men with beards and acoustic guitars.
The 70s were the best, and there’s also something nostalgic about the new wave and synth-pop of the 80s. I will never give up completely 😉
The worst decade in music was the 90s. I can’t believe people like all the nonsense that came from Mariah Carey, Oasis and Boyz II Men. There were many bad things about the 90s, and music is no exception.
Decades Bands 60s 70s 80s
70s and 60s more than anything in my opinion. The 90s had some good things, but it’s not up there with both.
I wish I lived in the late 60’s and 70’s, that was the golden age of rock music. Apart from a few good bands for most of 1996 to now the music is shit.
Personally I love the 50’s for jazz. 60s for Motown, The British Invasion, Acid Rock, Classic Rock, Blues and Jazz. 70s for classic rock, fusion, jazz and Jamaican reggae. I hated the 80s except for The Police and a few others. 90s for the alternative scene. I don’t like anything after that.
Fall In Dub
You can’t go wrong with 60s and 70s music. I wasn’t born then, but there’s something about the news that came with them at the time that was the perfect mix of chill tunes and serious issues.
90s and up… rap. Am I the only one here who likes rap, right? I scrolled down a bit and saw everyone saying like the 80’s and 70’s etc (old people’s music
I mainly listen to bands from the last 10 or 15 years. I don’t really care about the other decades of music because I don’t really like them.

The worst was 2010+. There have been very few amazing albums released so far this decade (yes, I know it’s only 2011).
I’ll probably get fired for this, but my main interest in music died when Vinyl did it, now it’s just something I listen to in the background
The 80s are the best and the worst. I have two older brothers, so the 70s were a big influence on me with AM rock and the big R&B groups. Elton John, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Yes, America…Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight and the Pips.
S, 70s, And 80s Hits Music
I grew up in the 80s so it makes me nostalgic. The Cure still has a strong following. Paul Westerberg is one of the best singer/songwriters of his time. Elvis Costello.
FWIW one of my favorite bands (duo) is Indigo Girls. Honest, true words that have spanned their 25 year career.

No, you are not alone! For me, 90’s G-Funk is the best music ever. But I don’t like popular rap today.
However, two things bring it down; first of all, your dogmatic tone and above all your disgusting description of Justin Bieber as “****” is extremely hateful and extremely offensive. If you don’t like his music, fine, say so. There is no need to throw such abuse at him as a person.
As it turns out, I don’t care much for his music myself; but then I don’t care much for the very idea of a pre-packaged act designed to appeal to a certain pre-determined demographic. The old idea of individuals butchering their guitars in their parents’ garage while creating and creating sublime music outside of the process sometimes seems to me a bit better, if less manageable from a marketer’s point of view.

When it comes to music, I like a lot of the 60s, 70s and 80s. There are individual hits from the 90s that I really like, and then very few. It can be as much a matter of age as of musical taste.
I should also add that I like quite a lot of pre-60s music; a lot of classical, a bit of baroque and quite a bit of jazz.
Being a fan of 80’s hip hop was great for me. Classic album after album release. And MJ was also at his best. The early 90s also had a lot of great hip hop. Speaking of music in general, I don’t listen to the radio anymore (except sports) because it’s all overproduced pop music with no identity. Most of the songs that come out can be by any artist because most of them don’t have a unique sound (or write their own material). They buy tracks from the hottest producers.

Chris Brown or Katy Perry’s latest song could easily be Usher or Beyonce. Artists are changeable.

Running DMC put rap on the map (not my favorite style of music but I respect its roots)
Popular 20th Century Rock Music Styles
Punk/Skaterock (promoted by Thrasher mag, Flipside and Maximum Rock n Roll) DIY bands that thrived with no videos or airplay because it was pre-internet.
I like a little bit of 60s music, a little bit of 70s music, a little bit of 80s music, a little bit of 90s music and nothing beyond that.
The 70’s were the best. Bands like Genesis, Gentle Giant, Supertramp, Pink Floyd and lesser known bands like Harmonium are amazing.

It is simply a matter of taste. The worst was the 90s with the abuse of crappy keyboard sounds. 60’s Music Can’t Take My Eyes Off You A Young Girl Who Loves To Dream Needles And Pins The Night Has 1000 Eyes So Happy Together Peggy Sue Teddy Crow Blue Suede Shoes Rock On Under The Moon Of Love
