Music Bank – Music Bank brings Friday nights to k-pop fans around the world, with Music Bank broadcast live in over 100 countries. Music Bank is known for its two-MC system, with both male and female celebrities presenting their chemistry as a MusicBankMC couple. There have been a lot of MCs over the past 23 years, but here’s a list of MCs who have shown incredible chemistry – – to the point of almost spreading rumors. Yes, you read that. Before ParkSeo Joon killed him in all the dramas and movies he starred in, Park was Sistar Bora’s partner every Friday on Music Bank. Soobin and Arin’s era is the first era where Music Bank did not use the actor-singer MC formula. Normally, if one MC was a singer, the other would usually be an actor or actress, but two idol group members were the first to break that formula! Also known as the “A-Kong couple”, fans everywhere adore this visually aesthetic couple and their sweet chemistry. They even won the “Best Couple Award” at the 2020KBS Entertainment Awards! Before the idol group members entered the Music Bank MC stage, various celebrities had the opportunity to play a role. In 2008, comedian and current Radio Star host Yoo Se Yoon described a witty chemistry with Seo In Young. Since both of them are very suitable for variety shows, their presence on Music Bank and MC breaks was much more fun. Like Park Seojun, before Song Joong Ki melted the hearts of all female audiences with hits like Descendant of the Sun or Vincenzo, Song Joong Ki linked up with bright young Seo Hyo Rim. Song Joong Ki’s sweet and charismatic voice and Seo Hyo Rim’s cute and husky voice were the perfect couple in 2010! He also did a great job of spreading Song Joong Ki’s name. Music Bank has very well strategized its MC game by finding a rising star in the theater world. This was definitely a burden for the MC as they took on another successful MC couple – Choi Won Myung & Lovelyz’s Kei. Bomin & Yeeun have been slaying their roles for the year as they have already been attracting attention with their visuals. Many viewers started watching Music Bank just because of its host, and fans around the world were devastated when they announced they were leaving the show. The Music Bank Chart is a record chart set in 1998 by the South Korean television music program KBS Music Bank. Each week during the live broadcast, the show presents an award for the most successful single on the South Korean charts. The chart incorporates digital performance on national online music services (65%), album sales (5%), number of airplays of the single on KBS TV (20%) and viewer choice (10%) in its ranking methodology.
The National Online Music Services score is calculated based on data from Melon, Bugs, Gie Music and Soribada.

Laboum member Ahn Sol-bin, who hosted the show since July 2016, hosted it until June 8, 2018.
Actor Lee Seo-won, who co-hosted the show with Solbin since November 2016, continued until May 11, 2018, when he was fired as host after it was revealed that he was being investigated for sexual assault and bullying. .
Within four weeks of his departure, VIXX N member, Highlight member Son Dong-woon, Shinee member Taemin, and BTS member Kim Seok-jin appeared as guest hosts in addition to Solbin. On June 15, Lovelyz member Kei and actor Choi Won-myeong became the new hosts of the show.
List Of Music Bank Chart Winners (2018)
In 2018, 36 singles reached No. 1 on the chart, and 25 groups received No. 1 trophies. Among all releases this year, BTS’s “Fake Love” received the most points during the June 1 broadcast with a score of 15,019. The single, along with their follow-up single “Idol” and Wanna One’s “Boomerang,” tied the total number of points. 3 weeks each at the top of the chart, the most of any artist in 2018. Three artists had three chart-toppers in 2018; Exo with “Universe”, “Tempo” and “Love Shot”, Got7 with “Look”, “Lullaby” and “Miracle”, Wanna One with “Boomerang”, “Light” and “Spring Breeze”. Soloist Sunmi reached number one on the September 21st show with the song “Cheese”. Infinite member Kim Sung-kyu won Music Bank for the first time with “True Love” after debuting at number one on the show on March 9.
Many female artists earned their first number one on the music bank in 2018. Boy group JBJ won their first trophy in the music program with “My Flower” on the January 26 show. IKon achieved their first number one on Music Bank with the single “Love Scario”. On October 12th, they are set to score another number one with “Goodbye Road”. Boy groups NCT 127 and Monsta X achieved their first number one on the Music Bank chart with “Regular” and “Shoot Out” respectively. Two girl groups achieved their first number one on the chart in 2018: Momoland with “Bboom Bboom” and Blackpink with “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” on February 23 and June 29, respectively.

Twice Gets 6th Win For “heart Shaker” On “music Bank”
In 2023, K-pop continues its invasion of Europe, especially France. Several leading groups are planning to play in Paris, such as the famous boy band Ateez. K-Pop festivals are also on the schedule with the MIK event, which we will discover in February at the Accor Arena.
