Under the leadership of its founder, Wilbert Webster White, the school deliberately sought to bridge the gap between university-based theological education and Bible schools. White is a leading proponent of what is known as the “pedagogical method of Bible study”. He believed that the Bible should be taught in a way that is easy to understand and should be the most important part of theological education. This method is very simple to emphasize the practical training of the service, which is known by the organization from the beginning.
