Bc Sports Hall Of Fame And Museum – The BC Sports Hall is a sports museum located at BC Place Stadium. It features Vancouver, BC and other Canadian athletes and sports history.
The BC Sports Hall of Fame is a small to medium sized museum that displays memorabilia and items of interest to sports fans. The facility features team jerseys and other memorabilia, as well as information on BC athletes, including Canadian heroes Terry Fox and Rick Hansen.
Bc Sports Hall Of Fame And Museum
The BC Sports Hall is located next to Gate A of the BC Place Stadium. The stadium’s address is 777 Pacific Boulevard South, but it’s a big place. The museum and Gate A can be found at the intersection of Beatty Street and Robson Avenue in Terry Fox Plaza, northwest of the stadium.

Just a few blocks down the street from Gate A is the Stadium-Chinatown Elevated Station at the corner of Beatty and Dunsmuir.
BC Sports Hall of Fame Friday to Sunday open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Before the epidemic, it was open every day. However, starting in February 2022, the building will only be open Monday through Thursday. When professional sports are played at BC Place Stadium, the facility closes with a kick.
Discounts are available for families and groups of 10 or more. Special all-access experience tickets are also available for $20.00 per person.
Cbc’s Karin Larsen Inducted Into B.c. Sports Hall Of Fame
Available to up to 20 members of the general public on each tour at designated times and dates, the full access experience includes a behind-the-scenes look at BC Place. The tour includes the stadium’s media lounge, premium suite areas, locker rooms and playing field (subject to availability).
On the days they are held, all access experience tours are usually at 1:00 AM. 11:00 at night. 1:00 and 1:00 in the afternoon.

There are several ways to save on the cost of admission to the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
People with ticket vouchers for BC Place events, BC Lions football games, Vancouver Canucks hockey games and Vancouver Whitecaps football games, for example, get 50% off regular game day admission prices. To claim the discount, show your card at the front desk.
Other discounts include getting Hostelling International members at the youth or student price, which is good for older non-student members. Also, visitors to Science World or Vancouver Lookout are not eligible for the 20% discount.

Expect to see team jerseys and helmets, other sports gear and autographed memorabilia in glass displays at the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
Sports memorabilia from major teams in Vancouver and other BC teams dominate, of course, but there are also artifacts from local sports and the British Commonwealth Games.
Terry Fox was a young one-legged athlete growing up in Vancouver who was trying to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Rick Henson is another world famous Vancouverite who raised millions for spinal cord research while in a wheelchair around the world.

There are other exhibits at the BC Sports Hall of Fame, including hands-on activities and a model of BC Place Stadium. It’s not a huge facility, but it’s amazing how well they fit in!

730 guests attended the annual Ball of Champions presented by Canadian Direct Insurance on Thursday, May 28, 2015, and their attendance supported the newest group of BC Sports Hall of Famers and the important programs offered by the hall. The evening’s agenda was packed with official receptions, recognition of significant sporting anniversaries and speeches by special guests.
The induction recognizes excellence in sport, contribution to sport and impact on sport in British Columbia in the categories of athletes, builders, teams, pioneers and media. Induction into the BC Sports Hall of Fame is considered the highest sports honor in British Columbia.

Five athletes from the athletics department – Shelly Winter Andrews (field hockey), Garrett Hickling (wheelchair rugby), Paul Caria (ice hockey), Danny Morrison (speed skating) and Leah Fells (track and field). John Hare (baseball) and Danny Veitch (all round: rugby, soccer, football) were selected in the builders category. Duncan Campbell (wheelchair rugby) and J. Paul McConnell. BC members of the 2012 Canadian Olympic soccer team were selected to be included in the team category (Karina LeBlanc, Sophie Schmidt, Christine Sinclair, Brittany Timko, Emily Zorr).
The BC Sports Hall of Fame is located at Gate “A” at BC Place along with the inspiring Hall of Champions, the Vancouver 2010 Gallery and many other unique galleries. A not-for-profit club, the BC Sports Hall of Fame is the ‘go-to’ organization for BC’s sports heritage. For nearly 50 years, we have honored BC’s teams, builders, athletes, pioneers and media through the annual inaugural event, the Banquet of Champions.
