The Wiregrass Blues Festival (WBF) began in 2011 as a tribute concert to late blues legend and Dothan native Eddie Kirkland. WBF is a celebration of our region’s incredible blues traditions. Every year we bring outstanding blues and blues inspired shows to our community. In addition to the festival performances, we host public presentations of local living and deceased honorees, paying tribute to those who have pioneered or established a place in the music industry each festival season.

Our line always represents the unique musical culture of our region. WBF artists have spent decades building their craft, and their performances at our festival always reflect musical excellence.
