Art Director News – Pete Adlington has been appointed Faber’s new art director, succeeding Donna Payne, who is leaving the company at the end of this month.
Adlington joined the publisher as a senior designer in 2018. During his tenure, he oversaw artwork for major titles, including Kazuo Ishiguro’s Klara and the Sun, and a complete repackaging of the backlist of the author; Faber Editions format and design by Louise Doughty

As a fan of anime and manga, Rachta loved Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Gundam, Slam Dunk and many others as a child.
Her love of anime eventually led her to dream of becoming a manga artist, although it seemed impractical for someone who didn’t even live in Japan and speak the language.
